Ancient Civilization Relics Guide
Ancient Civilization Relics join Parts and Cores as a third Ancient economy layer in patch 1.100.427. Unlike Parts from Alphas and Cores from Oil Rig chests, relics spawn primarily in the World Tree after the Panthalus barrier quest. Feed them into conversion devices for enhancement materials that fuel Ancient Armor, implants, and late Technology rows.
Relics vs Parts vs Cores
| Item | Source | Primary use |
|---|---|---|
| Parts | Alphas, dungeons, raids | Basic Ancient schematics |
| Cores | Oil Rig Greater Chests, Hard Expeditions | Purple-tier Ancient crafts |
| Relics | World Tree zone | Device conversion into boost mats |
Farming Relics Efficiently
Unlock World Tree access first, then run loops with a Pal carrying the correct World Tree passive aura so resource nodes do not vanish on contact. Combine relic pickup with Paloxite mining and boss respawn timers. Use fast travel to empty inventory between conversion batches.
Conversion and Spending Priority
Convert relics at World Tree devices before returning to base — raw relics clog inventory during long farming sessions. Spend output on bottleneck crafts: missing Disposable Implant components, accessory upgrades, or Technology levels blocking 1.0 weapons. Track conversions against patch 1.0 notes in case Pocketpair retunes drop rates post-launch.
